I've been working in Illustrator for the past couple of months and last week I decided to start delving into Photoshop for artwork. This was a beast. For me. I learned a whole lot about Photoshop. Photoshop has more freedom in regards to shading and highlighting. All you need are masks, masks, masks and you can pretty much do anything you want. The downside, to me, is that once it's done…it's done. If you don't like it, you have to rebuild it. Yea, it may be only one layer, but with Illustrator, you can click on a path and be done. It's definitely a different way of working.
